My experiences on the book After by: Hazel Hutchins I find it keeps you interested a lot of the time. But I am kinda losing a lot of my interested in the book it is getting boring but I am think it will get better as it goes. And if the book gets better in a couple chapters I will be really into the book and want to read it more and more each chapter. I think it was a alright choice for me because it is on a horse ranch and the dad is a horse trainer and that’s what I like to do but I wish they talked about horses and stuff more often. And I would like to tell you a little about the first five chapters, she likes do wright letters about her personal life and she wrights them to Amy and I and guessing it is one of her close friends . And I don’t know but I think she is thinking weird because in chapter three she thought she got swallowed by a whale. And that is most what I know about the first five chapters that were interesting
Summary of the book
The setting of the book is in two different places. Katie lives on a really nice horse ranch and Sam lives in a old apartment building.Before the book started there was a random act of shooting that happened. it happened to one of sam and katie's relatives. Now in the book these two teens are trying to rebuild there lives in many ways. Throughout the book these teens have been messaging another teen named amy that has been helping them rebuild their lives.They found out that they will never meet in person and I think they were really looking forward to it. katie's only one to leen on has just left. the person was her dad. In the end Katie and Sam found out that the person (Amy) that they messaged to get help from, is not alive. this is my summary of main events mainly but for me this book was tought for me to read because it was always off topic and it was not as intersting as i expected it to be. but over all this book was an alright book just could be more intersting and it would be great for other kids to read.
